About Product:
Our Brasil Philodendrons are displayed in medium open terrariums. This variety of Philodendron is an eye-catcher with its deep green, heart-shaped leaves splashed with lime green and yellow stripes down the center. These are "viners" so you can either let them naturally drape out of its terrarium or you can cut it back to promote a more compact shape. The Brasil Philodendron can be kept in its open terrarium or taken out and placed in a pot or larger terrarium. These terrariums are sure to brighten up any day! Approximate dimensions (glass portion of item) - 4" diameter x 4.25" height. The actual plant height will vary slightly*.
About Philodendron Brasil:
Brasil Philodendrons are native to the tropical rainforests of South America. They prefer moist well-drained soil that should be allowed to dry out slightly between waterings. Brasil Philodendrons prefer temperature levels between 70-80 F and medium to high humidity. Though these are preferred levels, Philodendrons are known for their vigorous nature and will grow quite well in general household temperatures and humidity levels. They should not be exposed to temperatures below 55 F. The Brasil Philodendron can survive in low light conditions but shows larger and more vibrant leaves when kept in an area with bright, indirect light. Direct sun exposure will burn these Philodendron leaves.
About Our Plants:
All plants are well established with healthy roots and multiple leaves. Our plants are all grown and maintained in our own private grow facilities in Michigan. We grow our plants in their terrariums for a minimum of 4 weeks or until there are signs of new growth. Our unique and attractive terrariums are filled with the proper substrates to keep your plant healthy with minimal care. This substrate does not need to be replaced. Due to the humidity that is created inside of our terrariums, the need for watering is reduced. The substrate is visible through the glass so monitoring dampness and root health requires little effort. Diluted, liquid, fertilizer is recommended every other month as maintenance.
