About Product:
Our Baltic Blue Pothos plants are displayed in attractive small open terrariums. The Baltic Blue Pothos grows narrow, teardrop shaped foliage that have deep slits in them, closely resembling flames. Its deep green, glossy leaves develop a bluish tint that is much more prominent in the fall and winter. These can be left to vine out of the terrarium, provided support to grow in an vertical manner, or pruned to remain compact in form. Your Baltic Blue Pothos can be kept in its open terrarium or taken out and placed in a pot or larger terrarium. Approximate dimensions (glass portion of item) - 2.8" diameter x 3.25" height. The actual plant height will vary slightly*.
About Pothos:
The Pothos is native to southeastern Asia and is a fast growing, trailing vine. Due to its ability to grow in a wide variety of conditions, it is one of the easiest plants to maintain. These tropical plants prefer moderate to high humidity, but will tolerate and adapt to lower humidity environments. Pothos plants do well in temperatures between 65-85 F and can handle down to 50 F. They do well in bright, indirect lighting conditions but, much like its humidity requirements, will tolerate and adapt to lower light environments. Direct sun exposure will burn Pothos leaves quickly. These plants enjoy moist soil but are drought tolerant.
About Our Plants:
All plants are well established with healthy roots and multiple leaves. Our plants are all grown and maintained in our own private grow facilities in Michigan. We grow our plants in their terrariums for a minimum of 4 weeks or until there are signs of new growth. Our unique and attractive terrariums are filled with the proper substrates to keep your plant healthy with minimal care. This substrate does not need to be replaced. Due to the humidity that is created inside of our terrariums, the need for watering is reduced. The substrate is visible through the glass so monitoring dampness and root health requires little effort. Diluted, liquid, fertilizer is recommended every other month as maintenance.
