About Product:
Mini Monstera are displayed in our small open terrariums. These Mini Monstera plants display beautiful fenestrated and split leaves. They resemble the shiny leaves of the well-known Monstera Deliciosa but in a mini form. These are vining plants so you can choose to let the vines hang out of the terrarium, prune the plant back, or provide it with vertical support. The Mini Monstera can be kept in its open terrarium or taken out and placed in a pot or larger terrarium. You won't be able to keep your eyes off of these clean and sophisticated looking terrariums. Approximate dimensions (glass portion of item) - 2.8" diameter x 3.5" height. The actual plant height will vary slightly*
About Mini Monstera:
The Mini Monstera, also commonly known as Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma and Monstera Ginny, are native to Southeast Asia. Interestingly, they are not actually Monsteras but in the Rhaphidophora genus. They prefer consistently moist, but not soggy, soil and moderate to high humidity, but will adapt and thrive in household humidity. The ideal temperature for Mini Monstera is between 65-85 F. They should not be exposed to temperatures below 55 F or above 95 F for extended periods of time. Mini Monstera should be provided bright, indirect light. Direct sun exposure will burn the leaves of this plant.
About Our Plants:
All plants are well established with healthy roots and multiple leaves. Our plants are all grown and maintained in our own private grow facilities in Michigan. We grow our plants in their terrariums for a minimum of 4 weeks or until there are signs of new growth. Our unique and attractive terrariums are filled with the proper substrates to keep your plant healthy with minimal care. This substrate does not need to be replaced. Due to the humidity that is created inside of our terrariums, the need for watering is reduced. The substrate is visible through the glass so monitoring dampness and root health requires little effort. Diluted, liquid, fertilizer is recommended every other month as maintenance.
*Plants displayed in the listing may not be the actual plant received. You will receive your terrarium with a plant of the same variety, similar size, color, variegation, health, etc. - grower's choice. We take extra precaution when packing our items to minimize movement during shipment and to reduce the possibility of leaf breakage during transit, but we cannot guarantee that this will not happen. Rest assured that these are healthy plants and will grow new leaves. We are not responsible for damage during shipping or unpacking. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
