The Philodendron Heart Leaf Variegated in a 4” pot pictured is the actual plant being listed. This is a rare variety of Philodendron that displays splashes and marbling of white, cream, and mint green on dark green, heart shaped leaves. When the leaves first emerge they possess a reddish to bronze color. The Philodendron Heart Leaf Variegated is a climbing variety that naturally spreads along the forest floor but can also be trained to climb up a vertical support or left to cascade out of a pot. As with many Philodendrons, this variety can be pruned to keep a more bushy and compact form.*

About Philodendron Heart Leaf Variegated:
The Philodendron Heart Leaf Variegated m, also known as Philodendron Hederaceum Variegated, is native to Central and South America. These plants grow well in evenly moist, but not soggy, soil. The soil can dry out a bit before watering as this variety is more drought tolerant than other Philodendrons. The Philodendron Heart Leaf Variegated adapts very well to household environments and can tolerate humidity as low as 40%. Bright, indirect light is ideal. Its leaves are susceptible to scorching in direct sun so this should be avoided. Its ideal temperature is between 65-85 F and temperatures below 55 F for lengthy periods of time should be avoided.
