About Product:
Our Calathea Vittata plants are grown in sturdy 4" pots. This variety of Calathea displays bright green leaves with striking white stripes that appear to be stenciled. The leaves are narrow and elliptical in shape, hence its other names Calathea Elliptica Vittata and Goeppertia Elliptica Vittata. Calathea Vittatas grow upright and in a clumping form.
About Calathea:
Calathea plants, also commonly known as prayer plants, are tropical plants that are native to South America. They prefer moist soil, moderate to high humidity, and temperatures between 60-80 F. The White Fusion Calathea does well in filtered, diffused light, but can still tolerate and do well in low light. Direct sun exposure will burn the leaves. In its natural habitat, Calathea plants grow at the ground-level in tropical rainforests where they keep a compact form and are protected from harsh sunlight by trees.
