Our Monstera Adansonii plants are displayed in large, glass, open terrariums. This variety of Monstera grows large heart-shaped leaves that have holes and notches hence its nickname, Swiss Cheese Plant. It's foliage has a beautiful gloss and sheen to it. The Monstera Adansonii is a fast growing and vining variety which can easily be trimmed if a more compact form is desired. Your Monstera Adansonii can be kept in its open terrarium to admire for years to come. Approximate dimensions (glass portion of item) - 4" diameter x 5.5" height. Elegant, clear support stick is included. The actual plant height will vary slightly*.
About Monstera Adansonii:
Monstera Adansonii, also called Swiss Cheese Plant, are native to Central and South America. These holes provide the plant with the ability to withstand winds, grow faster and farther, and increase water usage. They prefer consistently moist, but not soggy, soil, moderate to high humidity, and temperatures between 65-85 F. They should not be kept in temperatures below 55 F for extended periods of time. When grown indoors, misting helps to increase the humidity. Monstera Adansonii prefers bright, indirect light. Direct sun exposure will burn the leaves.
